About Us

J.C. Cody Inc. was founded in 1980 by Steven and Christine Corio, Italian artisans and 3rd generation furniture designers. The Corios started manufacturing their own designs and with years of experience and working closely with many renowned interior designers they found inspiration. The furniture line quickly evolved into a wide array of eclectic furnishings.

In 1993, Mr. and Mrs. Corio took the company into a new venture with the import of the collection from their hometown of Milan, Italy. The product line consists of all material sources including stainless steel, murano glass, and exotic woods such as Burmese teak, cork, and a complete textile collection from woven bamboo. Christine Corio, the company President, is the driving force behind all hospitality production in our factory in Los Angeles, while Mr. Corio oversees our international production in Europe and Asia. His extensive travels to Asia on a monthly basis keeps all production details maintained as well as shipments scheduled in a timely manner.

Our manufacturing facility in North Hollywood, California has produced furniture for the most renowned designers and purchasing agents for the past 30 years. Our hospitality furniture is displayed in 5 and 6 star resorts throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. We have furnished Palaces for Saudi Royalty, Mayoral offices, and the White House, not excluding the many celebrity homes and high end residences.
